A Worrying 10 Days For Hatters Supporters

In ten days’ time, according to my maths, the January transfer window will close firmly shut.

For me, they are ten days in which I hope nobody comes knocking, at Kenilworth Road, wanting to do business.

Second, in the League One table and closing in on the leaders Portsmouth, the Hatters are in a good position to achieve back-to-back promotions.

However, such success comes with its inherent dangers.

Clubs, in the higher leagues, are, no doubt, aware of just how good some of this Hatters squad are.

With that being the case, it wouldn’t surprise me if bids were forthcoming for a couple of our squad with, in my opinion, Justin James and James Collins being possible targets.

If that is the case, then it remains to be seen whether the Hatters are able to resist any offers that are commensurate with their worth.

Worrying times, for the moment, I’d say!
